Moba Inggang is a LIVE band based out of Dimapur, Nagaland. It is the brainchild of Moba Inggang, a multi-talented musician. He is one of the three brand ambassadors for the promotion of Voters’ Participation under SVEEP Programme. He started his interest in music when he was in high school but he didn’t take music seriously until he was in college.
Struggling his way through tough times, he learned that music just does not give support but also acts as a strong tool to express varied depths of human emotions and feelings which also has the power to purify and strengthen struggling souls. During his college days, he was part of a group called Reformation Singers Nagaland.
The video titled ‘I Will Be There’ is a love ballad written in a broad sense, where one wishes to have someone for comfort. It is a song of promise to stand by one’s side in times of loneliness and relates to any type of love shared between lovers or parents to their children.
Moba draws his influences from the social reality around him. He finds that it is meaningfully significant to express his experiences and observations through his music. Besides music, he also uses his painting skills to capture the different aspects of life and situations through his sketches.
His audio album entitled ‘The Consequence’ was released in 2007. The debut album was experimental playing with different genres. He was the champion of Summer Jam in 2004 as a soloist and in 2006, with his band, Ark - Covenant. His music video, ‘Silent Years’, has been nominated in the fifth Music Awards of Nagaland, 2013 under the soft rock alternative category.
Moba’s new single ‘I am Sorry’ is an experimental song that has a mixed touch of jazz and RnB elements. This record is made for a promotional purpose produced by Crystal Sound Studio.
