Srusthi Shah's Dance Academy is a professional dance troupe based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is the brainchild of Srushti Shah, who is the sole director and the founder of the institute.
She has made her way in Mumbai, getting trained under the finest choreographers and dance institutes such as Shiamak Davar International (SPB course), Meher Malik's Banjara (workshops), Rahul Saxena's Dance Connection (ITP course) and had played as a lead performer in Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk 2016.
She improvised in her own way as well as learnt the authenticity of each dance styles, out of which she emphasised on learning more of ballroom styles (salsa, tango, and jive), Indo-jazz, contemporary, b-boying, belly dance, and much more.
Being a passionate dancer as well as a choreographer, she had professionally built a place in the dance field since a very young age of 17. She is a classical dancer who learnt Kathak for four years at the Kadamb Dance Institute (Ahmedabad).
She has choreographed many wedding events and has been running her academy for more than four years now. She has also choreographed an urban Gujarati film called Armaan, which is soon going to get on AIR.
