Ghulam Hasan Khan is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He is a child prodigy and the youngest artist from the Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana. He is a talented and versatile vocalist who can perform both classical and light classical vocals with equal ease. Hasan Khan is the son of Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan (who is a well-known ghazal singer and a great classical vocalist) and the grandson of the legendary musician, Padmashree Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan, who is the vocalist of international repute. Ghulam Hasan Khan is the fourth generation of Ustad Mushtaq Hussain Khan, the Doyen of Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana. He has been learning classical singing from the age of five under the guidance of his grandfather, Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan. Gifted with a sonorous and mellifluous voice, Ghulam Hasan sings classical khayal, ghazals, thumri, dadra, Sufi, folk, bhajans and geets with equal ease. Ghulam Hasan has been performing in India and abroad from the age of seven. He also gave his performances in overseas countries like Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, etc. In 2006, he also performed at Poorvi Music Foundation concert held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Ghulam Hasan Khan also performed in Silsila concert with his father and grandfather. In 2007, he performed in a special concert held at Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House) in front of honourable President of India, late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
