Sarthi K is a professional singer based out of Amritsar, Punjab. He is one of the most recognisable voices in Punjab for more than past two years. Born in 1987 at Nabha District of Punjab, Sarthi was interested in music from a very young age. Sarthi K joined Arya School of Boys where he took the stage for the first time, singing ‘Appan Dovein Russ Baithe Taan’ by Hans Raj Hans. He got an excellent response and love from everyone. Singing became a passion for him which grew over the years. Sarthi started participating in all the competitions and school functions. He also started learning music from his guru, Rajesh Kumar. He kept on participating in a lot of cultural functions and youth festivals. He also won a prize from the Late President, Dr Abdul Kalam, for singing ‘Bol Mitti Deya Bawea’. His first year in college brought him a big career twist when he met Jaggi Tohra, an amazing lyricist. The duo started jamming their music in events like functions, parties, and get-togethers. Both have been working very hard on their music ever since. With God’s grace, they journeyed their path to success one step at a time and came out with their first album in 2009.
