Surjit Bhullar is a professional singer based out of Amritsar, Punjab. He was born in Jaddi pind (village) to a middle-class Sikh family. He used to sing religious compositions based on Sikhism as a child. Surjit completed his graduation in BA from Bir Baba Budha Sahib College. After so much dedication in music, he met the famous Punjabi pop singer, Raj Brar. With his guidance, he was able to launch his first tape, 'Mera Ji Nahi Lagda', and there was no looking back ever since. This was followed by the albums – 'Saade Utte Kinj Guzri', 'Bulleya', 'Ki Kariye', and 'Sandhuri Pagh'. Surjit further released his single songs – Tohr Shokini, Diljaani, Jawani, Ladaiyaan, Gabru, and Ambraan da Chann. Later, after receiving a massive response from his fans, he released a single called Scooter. After some time, Surjit launched two new albums – New York and Aashiq Faujaan. After that, he launched two religious albums – Insaan and Naam Khumari. Surjit always believes that it is very important to speak in your mother-tongue, which is why he always promotes Punjabi language and will keep on doing it.
